The District l,evel Committee constituted may exercise discretion in making local decisions, such as considering subjectspecific needs or addressing the requirements of schools, to enhance their overall functioning during these adjustments. Such actions must have valid reasons with fulI justification.
The committee is instructed to implement the stage-wise measures as for identifting surplus teachers and deploying/positioning them to needy schools. These actions must be carried out in strict adherence to the staffing pattern prescribed for Primary, Upper Primary, and High Schools as per G.O.Ms.No.z5, School
Education (Ser.II) Department, dated 12.o8.2o2r, read with Rule 9 of G.O.Ms.No.5, School Education (Ser II) Dept., dt. 2501.2023.
The committee shall ensure the following while identifying surplus teachers and deploying/positioning them to needy schools:
i. Teachers working in Tribal Areas shall not be adjusted to schools in plain areas; adjustments must be confined within the Tribal Area itself. However, in the event of a teacher deficit in Tribal Areas, teachers from plain areas may be deputed to Tribal area schools,following the same order of preference as prescribed.
ii. Teachers who are junior in the cadre (as per seniority) should be identified as surplus during the process.
iii. Under no circumstances shall teachers be deputed on work adjustment to schools on a mutual basis (e.g. A to B and B to A),triangular basis (e.g., A to B, B to C and C to A) or other similararrangement.
iv. The Teachers who are adjusted and assigned to a new school under these orders must report to the new school by 13.o6.zoz5 and begin their duties there.
v. It is important to note that these arrangements are purely temporary and do not constitute a transfer to a new school. The teacher's salary will continue to be drawn and paid from their previous station.
vi. The District Collectors shall furnish the details of teachers who have been adjusted to needy schools to the Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad, by 3oth June, 2025 and the Director of School Education shall monitor the entire process.
